Love Unboxed Podcast Trailer
[00:00:00] Do you still hold out hope for finding love or improving the love you have? Welcome to Love Unboxed, the podcast for the hopeful romantic. Your host is Dr. Colleen Mullen. She's been a therapist for over 20 years and a lifetime hopeful romantic. She's been helping her clients find love and stay in love.
And now she wants to share what she knows with you. Get ready folks, because today we're diving into a brand new unboxing adventure.[00:00:30]
[00:00:37] Hi, and welcome fellow Hopeful Romantics. I'm Dr. Colleen. I'm also a hopeful romantic, and this is my brand-new show. Here at Love Unboxed. I'm building a place for all the hopeful romantics to come together to keep their faith in love. This show is for the person who feels like they maybe just can't get it right in relationships, but they've stayed hopeful about finding the love that they want.
[00:01:05] This show is also for the person who's in a long-term relationship that started strong, but now, although it's comfortable, feels more like roommates than lovers. You see, I've been a licensed marriage and family therapist and have been working with clients for over 20 years. I got into this work because I'm fascinated with relationships. I've learned a lot over the years and I've had to do a lot of work on myself.
[00:01:30] And just because I'm passionate about learning healthy relationship dynamics, I certainly can't sit here and say that I've always been great at walking the walk as I was talking the talk. I want to share all that I know and all that I learned with you so that you can feel Ready to embrace love in your life.
[00:01:50] And I mean you because the show will only exist if my fellow hopeful, romantic listeners participate by leaving me voicemails with [00:02:00] your questions. So to do that, you can go to loveunboxedpodcast. com and leave me your most pressing, or even your most frivolous relationship dilemma. Each week, I'll play back a question from a listener and then unbox that topic.
[00:02:16] And then I'm going to provide practical advice for navigating what to do when that topic shows up in your relationship. So the person who left the question gets some practical advice for dealing with that, as well as you. Who might not have [00:02:30] the problem today, but would have the knowledge then to handle that kind of situation if it were to show up in your relationship later on.
[00:02:37] Well, I can't wait to start unboxing love each week with you.
